Team17 (Yooka-Laylee, Overcooked, The Escapist 2 etc.) announced a new free update for Worms W.M.D. The update will be adding Forts mode to the game. Forts Mode should be available to all owners of the game on steam and will be available soon on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Forts Mode update includes:
All new mode in which to take part in annelid warfare. Defend yourself in your unique fort as you wage battle against your opponents and try to infiltrate theirs!
6 brand new forts: Castle Hassle, Donkey Dig, Reactor, Haunted, Pink Peril and Rocket
New customisation rewards to adorn your worms with
Brand new crafted weapon, the Magnetised Drone which was designed by a member of the Worms W.M.D community
