PlayStation Plus: Free Games Of May 2016

Playstation Plus

It’s that time of the month again, the time where SONY announces the free games for PSPlus May 2016. As per usual 2 games per console, and this month, one game that can be downloaded on both the PS4 and the Vita. Let’s not postpone it any longer and have a look at this months free line-up!

PlayStation 4

– Tropico 5
– Table Top Racing World Tour
– Switch Galaxy Ultra

As for PlayStation 4 this month, we’ll get a nice mix of games. Where you will spend most of your time in Tropico 5 by yourself, building and planning the development of your tropical Island State, you can jump straight into Mario kart -like multiplayer action with Table Top Racing World Tour. Even though the name is somewhat generic, this should be able to provide quite a few hours of multiplayer mayhem. Especially to those without access to the aforementioned Mario Kart!

PlayStation 3

– Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
– LocoRoco Cocoreccho!

As for the PlayStation 3. there is little to be all that excited about. Though Bionic Commando should be somewhat entertaining for those into the genre, and LocoRoco might offer the occasional giggle. There are probably better ways to spend your time this month and better versions of those games available. (though those might cost money and these are free..)

PlayStation Vita

– God of War: Ghost of Sparta
– Switch Galaxy Ultra

The PlayStation Vita is host to this months game with the most mass appeal. Which is ironic given the lack of popularity of the handheld system. God of War: Ghost of Sparta is one of the better entries in the highly beloved franchise. The second handheld game in the God of War series adds quite a lot of interesting story to the Kratos character and is definitely recommended to people into virtual violence. Next to the brilliant God of War is the addictive Switch Galaxy Ultra. A fast-paced arcade challenge great for playing in short bursts on the train or bus.

And those are the free PlayStation Plus Games for May 2016. What game are you most looking forward to? Will you be spending your time planning as El Presidente in Tropico 5, joining the multiplayer fun in Table Top Racing World Tour or taking your gaming outside the house with God of War: Ghost of Sparta?
We would be happy to hear your opinion on this months games in the comments or pop over to Twitter and let us know which is your favourite game this month!
